The Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville has announced that Joyce and Ed Rushton finished first at the duplicate bridge game on Jan. 31, with Linda Atkinson and Jessie Gunther second.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Clubs winners for Feb. 1 were Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman. Tom Simmons and Ron Cote placed second, Fred Letourneau and Kathy Burden placed third, and Jean Bird and Ken Harvey placed fourth.
The winners for Feb. 2 were Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman. Dennis Purington and Glenn Angell tied with Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami for second place.
The bridge club meets at 12:30 p.m. every Wednesday at the Cohen Center, 22 Town Farm Road in Hallowell, and at 6 p.m. Thursdays at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner; those who want to play but need a partner can call Director Paul Mitnik at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
