JACKMAN — The Carrabec boys basketball team moved over .500 for the first time this season with a 72-56 victory Saturday against Forest Hills.
Luke Carey scored 32 points for Carrabec (7-6), which claimed its fourth straight win. The Cobras also got 20 points from Joel Gehrke, 12 points from Bobby Lindholm and eight from Colby Carpenter.
Mason Desjardins (19 points) and Cooper Daigle (15 points) finished in double figures for Forest Hills (12-2), which had a seven-game winning streak snapped.

RICHMOND 70, ISLESBORO 35: Connor Vashon and Wyatt Cassidy each scored 20 points to lead the Bobcats to the win at Islesboro.
Vashon added six rebounds for Richmond (13-2) while Hunter Mason chipped in eight points.
Islesboro falls to 2-8.

MONMOUTH 86, WISCASSET 25: Kyle Palleschi led the Mustangs with 16 points in a win over the Wolverines in Wiscasset.
Bingham Abbott had 12 points in the win, and Hunter Frost finished with 10 points. Lucas Harmon grabbed 19 rebounds to go with his eight points for Monmouth (10-3).
Dylan Akers led Wiscasset (0-12) with seven points, and Mason Clark had six points.

OAK HILL 59, POLAND 57:Â Cooper Scott hit the game-winning shot with 10 seconds left to play, giving the Raiders a non-conference win in Wales.
Scott had a big game, finishing with a game-high 24 points, which included two 3-pointers for the Raiders (3-11). Ethan Vattaso added 12 points, while Landen Denis scored nine, Maverick Swan had eight and Gage Spier contributed six.
Poland’s (3-10 Hayden Christner made four 3s and scored 17 points. Hunter Brackett chipped in 13 points. Eli Alexanded had eight and John Patenaude and Damon Howze each scored six.

MT. ABRAM 79, MADISON 52: The Roadrunners took control early and earned a home win in Salem Township.
Mt. Abram (9-3) outscored Madison 23-7 in the opening quarter.
Kaden Pillsbury paced the Roadrunners with 22 points. Three other Mt. Abram players scored in double figures: Payton Mitchell had 17, Cam Grey scored 14 and Dylan Thorne finished with 11.
Callan Franzose led the Bulldogs (6-6) with 21 points, while Deacon Murray had 12 and Brode Strout 11.

RICHMOND 56, ISLESBORO 9: Izzy Stewart had 18 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and three blocks to lead the Bobcats to the win at Islesboro.
Kara Briand added 12 points, six rebounds and three steals for Richmond (12-3) while Breonna Dufresne had eight points, six assists and seven steals.
Islesboro (1-9) was led by Rosie Brimley with four points.

VALLEY 73, VINALHAVEN 9: The Cavaliers made it back-to-back wins over the Vikings with a decisive morning victory in Vinalhaven.
Kirsten Bigelow had a game-high 24 points for Valley (11-3). The Cavaliers also got 22 points from Brielle Hill and 10 points from Madeline Hill.
Vinalhaven falls to 4-8 with the loss.

HALL-DALE 69, WINTHROP 44: Amanda Trepanier had 23 points to pace the Bulldogs to the win Winthrop.
Hayden Madore added 18 for Hall-Dale (12-2).
Morgan Fichthorn and Madeline Wagner had 13 points apiece for Winthrop.

MADISON 48, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 38:Â Raegan Cowan poured in a game-high 19 points to pace the Bulldogs (9-4) earned the win in Rumford.
Madi Dow scored a team-high 12 points for Mountain Valley (6-7) and Layce Boucher dropped in eight.

OAK HILL 54, POLAND 44:Â Peyton Gonya made five 3-pointers and scored 22 points to lead the Raiders (6-7) past the Knights (0-13) in Poland.
Gonya hit a buzzer beater at the end of the first quarter, and Aubrey McElhaney made one at the end of the third for Oak Hill. McElhaney finished with 13 points.
Thea Thornton led Poland with 12 points, and Gretchyn Paradis added eight points.
