RICHMOND — Hunter Mason scored a game-high 26 points as Richmond handed Forest Hills its first loss of the season in a 61-51 boys basketball victory Thursday.
Wyatt Cassidy added 18 points and five rebounds for Richmond (4-0) while Connor Vashon hauled in 12 rebounds to go along with three points and two blocks.
Forest Hills (5-1) was led by Braeden Welch with 19 points and Cooper Daigle with 15.

WATERVILLE 57, LEAVITT 49 OT: The Purple Panthers outscored the Hornets 11-3 in overtime to earn the victory in Turner.
Spencer Minihan led Waterville (1-2) with 15 points while Garrett Gendreau and Nick Poulin each scored 12.
Brett Coburn scored a game-high 21 points for Leavitt (1-4).

HALL-DALE 56, MADISON 55: TJ Wilson scored 21 points as the Bulldogs pulled out the win in Madison.
Jackson Leach added 14 points for Hall-Dale (4-1).
Callan Franzose scored a game-high 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for Madison (1-3) and Brode Strout chipped in 10 points.

LAWRENCE 77, BANGOR 42: Dane Zawistowskie scored 18 points to lead the Bulldogs to the 77-42 win in Fairfield.
Gavin Hunt added 16 points for Lawrence (3-1) while Parker Higgins chipped in 11.
Bangor (1-3) was led by Matt Holmes with 15 points and Connor Boone with 10.

DIRIGO 76, OAK HILL 28: Dakota Tompkins’ 18 points led the Cougars in their win in Wales.
Nathaniel Wainwright, who, like Tompkins, hit two 3-pointers, added 14 points, while Trenton Hutchinson and Airick Richard scored 11 apiece and Charlie Houghton finished with nine for Dirigo (5-0).
Ethan Vattaso was Oak Hill’s (1-4) high scorer with 13 points.

MT. ABRAM 72, LISBON 47:Â The Roadrunners bounced back from a slow first quarter and pulled away in the fourth to earn an MVC win in Salem.
Lisbon led 15-3 after on quarter, and was still up 31-20 at halftime. Mt. Abram overtook the Greyhounds with a 27-11 third quarter, after which it led 47-42, and then built up a large lead with a 25-5 fourth.
Kaden Pillsbury paced the Roadrunners (3-1) with 23 points, including 14 in the third quarter. Payton Mitchell contributed 17 and Cam Grey finished with 15. Grey hit three 3-pointers and Pillsbury sank two treys.
Lisbon falls to 2-2.

SKOWHEGAN 72, ERSKINE 39: Kyle LePage scored 17 points to pace the River Hawks to the win in Skowhegan.
Patrick McKenney added 12 points for Skowhegan (1-3) while Ryan Donoghue added 11.
Erskine (0-4) was led by Emmett Appel with 12 points.

MT. BLUE 70, NOKOMIS 55: Chandler Briggs scored 18 points to lead the Cougars  to a victory in Farmington.
Briggs drained four 3-pointers. Zack Poisson had 14 points for Mt. Blue (4-1), Evans Sterling scored 13 and Jayden Meader contributed 12.
Madden White and Grady Hartsgrove led Nokomis (2-2) with 19 and 18 points, respectively.

MONMOUTH 53,NYA 37:Â Sammy Calder put up 27 points and pulled down nine rebounds to help the Mustangs cruise to the win in Monmouth.
Manny Calder added 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, for Monmouth (3-1). Hunter Frost scored eight points and tallied 11 steals and two blocks, and Gavin Gregor dished out 10 assists and scored two points.
Gregor also held North Yarmouth Academy’s (1-3) leading scorer, Moses Semuhoza, to 11 points, with 10 of those coming in the fourth quarter when the Mustangs had already built a large lead. Cal Nice and Nate Oney added nine points apiece for NYA.

RICHMOND 39, FOREST HILLS 31: Kara Briand scored 18 points and hauled down eight rebounds to lead the Bobcats to the win in Richmond.
Lila Viselli added seven points for Richmond (4-0) while Darby Flanagan had 10 rebounds and four blocks. Briand also had three blocks.
Forest Hills (4-2) was led by Grace Allen with 15 points and Kylie Yu with six.

NYA 74, MONMOUTH 19: Sarah English recorded 24 points and nine rebounds and went 10 for 10 at the free-throw line as the Panthers won in Yarmouth.
Angel Huntsman notched a double-double with 11 points and 11 assists for NYA (4-0). Graca Bila had 10 points, and Madilyn Onorato blocked 10 shots.
Rileigh Chase led Monmouth (2-2) with seven points.

VALLEY 71, TEMPLE 14: Madeline Hill scored 22 points to lead the Cavaliers to the win in Waterville.
Brielle Hill added 20 points for Valley (2-1) while Kirsten Bigelow chipped in 19.
Sofia Isgro scored six points for Temple (0-2).

DIRIGO 58, OAK HILL 38:Â Jayce Brophy lit up the scoreboard for 35 points, her second 30-plus-point game of the season, to lead the Cougars (2-1) to a home win over the Raiders (0-4) in Dixfield.
Brophy scored 31 in Dirigo’s season-opening win over Boothbay. In Thursday’s game she made 12 field goals, including a 3-pointer, and sank 10 of 12 attempts at the free throw line.
Grace Robbins added 12 points for the Cougars, while Kallie Errington contributed six points.
Ariana Thibault drained two treys and finished with a team-high 16 points for Oak Hill. Aubrey McElhaney added eight points.
