A Hanging of the Greens Worship Service is scheduled for 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church, 582 Bolsters Mills Road in Harrison.
Directly following the service will be fellowship with refreshments, according to a news release from Anna-Jean Alexander, church member.
On Sunday, Dec. 4, a day full of festivities will start with the 9 a.m. Advent worship service, fellowship, followed by Advent study at 10:30 a.m.
A benefit Christmas concert is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. Music will be offered by Tony Landsperg and David Seeley. The Christmas concert singalong will benefit the hygiene bags church members are collecting for teens experiencing homelessness in the area. People can bring hygiene products, and there will be a free-will offering all to benefit the mission. Refreshments will be served.
A candlelight Christmas Eve service, provided by Pastor Bo Jackson-Landsperg, is set for 7 p.m. Landsperg and Seeley will perform music.
Wayne and Anna-Jean Alexander, along with Landsperg and Seeley, will provide the music for the 9 a.m. Christmas service.
