WATERVILLE — “Hybrid working arrangements: how to effectively manage employees and workplace productivity” is the title of the next gathering in the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast Series.
The event is set for 7:15-9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Best Western Plus, 375 Main St.
The presentation — with Career Management Associates CEO/owner David Ciullo and Peter Lowe, attorney at Brann & Isaacson — will focus on the reality of hybrid working in the organization.
In post-pandemic times employees may either be back in the office, working a hybrid schedule or working entirely remotely. Ciullo and Low will share their legal and HR perspectives on issues such as:
• Requiring or encouraging employees to return to the office;
• managing performance and productivity of remote workers;
• handling requests to work remotely, including reasonable accommodations for disabled employees;
• managing generational expectations about the workplace; and
• hiring out-of-state remote employees, and multi-state law compliance.
