PITTSTON – Daniel Williams passed away on Aug. 24, 2022 at the age of 67. Daniel was born on Nov. 10, 1954, to Llyod Williams and Doris Collins Rowe in Augusta. He passed away at home. By his side were his daughters Catherine Perfetto and Crystal Dunn, along with his second wife, Katherine.
Daniel served his country from 1972 thru 1976 in the U.S. Air Force. While stationed in Thailand he met his first wife, Wiliwan Tippe, the mother of Catherine and Crystal. Following his discharge, he worked at various occupations from construction to truck driving to crane operating.
Daniel was known for his love of hunting and fishing in all seasons. His favorite pastime was traveling throughout Maine searching for new fishing holes, always taking a picture to assure bragging rights to all who knew him.
Daniel’s death was preceded by his father, Llyod, mother, Doris; and brother, Robert.
He is survived by four siblings, brothers Stephen, Donald, Llyod Jr., and sister, Wanda Vigue; along with his second wife, Katherine and her daughter, Brittany Thomas.
Daniel leaves behind two daughters, Catherine Perfetto and her husband, Shamus, and Crystal Dunn and her husband, Joseph. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Cody, Liam, Mary-Jane and Miya. Daniel also had many nieces, nephews and great ones, too.
There will be two services. The first one is at Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta on Oct. 7 at 1 p.m. The second service will follow immediately afterward at Rest Haven Cemetery in Windsor.
A celebration of life will follow for family and friends.
