In the coming weeks and years, the Kennebec County commissioners will be receiving a portion of the opioid settlement funds and will need to make decisions on how to best support recovery, treatment, prevention, and harm reduction with those funds. As someone who cares deeply about the impact the addiction crisis is having on our communities, I am proud to support Charlotte Warren for Kennebec County commissioner.
Charlotte has dedicated her career to helping end overdoses in our community. As a social worker she’s worked on the front lines, as a teacher she has educated the next generation of helpers, and as a state representative she has passed countless pieces of legislation that directs funding and support to this issue.
There is no one better suited to help the county make decisions about where to send the opioid settlement funds. Please join me in electing Charlotte Warren this November.
