Q&A

1) Define what “success” would look like if you are elected to serve your district.
Success is working across party lines to pass legislation that meets Mainers’ needs.

I will continue to support local businesses and residents by being accessible and responding quickly with appropriate state and local resources.

Success is being respectful in my interactions with constituents and other government leaders as I have strived to do in my first two terms.

I would continue to support funding local schools, property tax relief, child care availability, affordable housing and health care, and increased mental health and substance abuse treatment.

2) Characterize your view on public access to governmental business.
Government business and officials of the government should be transparent and the process of getting information should be clearly defined. Public involvement is of utmost importance.
