AUGUSTA — Ashtynn Stewart had a hat trick to lead the Lawrence field hockey team to a 6-0 win over Cony in a Class B North game on Thursday.
Maddie Niles had a goal and an assist, while Hope Bouchard and Alicen Higgins added scores for the Bulldogs (3-0).
Cony drops to 1-3.
SKOWHEGAN 7, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Norie Tibbetts and Layla Conway scored twice to lead the River Hawks (3-0) past the Red Eddies (1-2) in Auburn.
Samantha Theberge, Kate Kelso and Masyn Atwood added a tally in the victory. Emmah Carson stopped two shots in the cage.
Kasey Smith made 30 saves for Edward Little.
OXFORD HILLS 3, MT. BLUE 1: Three different scorers led the Vikings to a win over the Cougars in Farmington.
Brynn Bean, Carlee-Mae Cash and Tristen Derenburger all tallied goals for Oxford Hills (2-0).
Summer Sawyer scored the lone goal for Mt. Blue (1-2).
BOYS SOCCER
RICHMOND 1, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 0: Hunter Mason’s goal was the difference as the Bobcats beat the Panthers in Richmond.
Marco Guerrero had the assist on the goal. Connor Vashon had six saves for the shutout for Richmond (2-0).
Tanner Anckil had seven saves for NYA (1-1).
GIRLS SOCCER
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 8, RICHMOND 0: Leah Dube tallied a pair of goals and six other players scored as the Panthers (2-0) handled the Bobcats (1-1) in Yarmouth.
Emily Robbins finished with a goal and an assist. Anna Belleau, Charlotte Harper-Cunningham, Angel Huntsman, Michala Wallace and Hayden Wienckowski added a goal apiece, and Kailyn McIntyre had two assists.
WATERVILLE 3, LAWRENCE 2: Mara von Oesen scored two goals to spark the Purple Panthers to the win in Fairfield on Wednesday.
Jade Howard and Allie Anich added a goal apiece for Waterville (2-0-) while Lexi Van Der Westhuyzen made 12 saves.
Zoie Ward and Desiree Clement scored for Lawrence (0-2). Zoe Hutchins stopped 15 shots.
MESSALONSKEE 3, SKOWHEGAN 0: Lily Moore scored twice as the Eagles (1-2) earned their first win of the season in Oakland.
Emma Parsons also scored for Messalonskee, while keeper Dovelyn Russell made six saves.
Natalie Cooke stopped five shots for Skowhegan (0-3).
VOLLEYBALL
CONY 3, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 1: The Rams (1-2) earned a four-set victory for their first win of the season in Augusta.
Jasmyne Mills had five serving aces, three kills and seven assists for Cony, while teammate Avery Theriault had four aces, eight kills, and five digs. Kylie Quinn had 10 kills and two blocks for the Rams.
