The Heather Pierson Duo will perform at the City of Auburn’s Summer ’22 Anniversary Park Acoustic Music Series at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, in Anniversary Park in Auburn.

Hailing from New Hampshire’s Mount Washington Valley, Heather Pierson is a pianist, singer/songwriter, and performer whose inspiring live performances with her bassist/partner Shawn Nadeau delve into Americana, jazz, blues, and folk. Best known for her ease at the piano and her bell-tone vocals, Pierson’s songs embody honesty, playfulness, and a desire to share from the heart. In 2020, she had a viral hit with her “Toilet Paper Song,” and released both a moving single, “Beside The Firelight,” about the death of George Floyd, and a collection of original meditation chants, “Be Here Now.” Since March 2020, she has been live-streaming concerts from her home every week, leading online community sings, and posting every Monday to her popular “Dispatches” blog. Her latest collection of original chants and rounds, “Wishes of Lovingkindness,” was released earlier this year. For more information about Heather Pierson, visit heatherpierson.com.

Anniversary Park – formerly known as “Little Andy Park” – is located off Pulsifer Street in Auburn.
