Weekly stand-up comedy continues as The River Comics present two live shows from the basement stage at Craft Brew Underground in Auburn this weekend.

The popular 6×10 Show featuring six stand-up comics doing ten minutes each for your generous pay-what-you-can tips starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 24.  This week’s lineup of comics includes host Danny Jordan, creator of Portland’s Deep Thoughts Comedy Show, and five of the region’s funniest comics: Ben Roberts, Nate Bradford, first-timer Debbie Burgess, local legend Nick Dufault, and all the way from Rhode Island, Tony Manfredi.

Another installment of the only weekly Saturday comedy show in the state at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, features Chris Fritz, Ben Miller and making his return to the Craft Brew Underground stage, arguably one of Maine’s funniest, down-home comedians, your goofy brother and dorky dad rolled into one, Johnny Friggin’ Ater.

Tickets for Saturday’s show are $10 and can be found at therivercomics.com or purchased at the door. Questions should be directed to The River Comics at 207-200-5366 or therivercomics@gmail.com.
