Voters in Kennebec County District 2 will nominate a Democrat to run for the county commissioner seat that my mother, Nancy Rines, has held for 40 years. My mother has loved serving as commissioner and has worked very hard to represent us. I want to be sure that whoever is elected as our next county commissioner continues my mother’s role of showing up, working hard, and asking tough questions.
That’s why I’m proudly casting my vote for Charlotte Warren on June 14. Like my mother, Charlotte is a super hard worker who is committed to public service. She asks tough questions in order to arrive at the right answer for her constituents.
I have known Charlotte Warren for almost as long as my mother has served as county commissioner. Charlotte has decades of budget experience. She’s my choice on June 14.
