A spring birding walk is scheduled for 7 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at the Holman Conservation Area in Litchfield. Participants can join local birders and Kennebec Land Trust volunteers Howard Lake and Glenn Hodgkins.
The 75-acre property features a mixture of early successional woodlands and wetlands, making it a prime place for birdwatching, especially during peak migration, according a news release from the Winthrop-based land trust.
Birders of all skill levels are welcome, but pets should be left at home.
