United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is set to host its second annual Scavaganza, a family friendly outdoor scavenger hunt, set for 4-6 p.m. Saturday, May 14.

The event will start at Franklin Memorial Hospital, 111 Franklin Health Commons in Farmington.

Registered teams will hunt for a series of clues and complete challenges in Greater Franklin County.

Participants should dress for adventure, since they never know where they will be trekking or what they will have to do at each stop, according to a news release from the United Way.

Proceeds from this event are invested back into the community through programs like the Hope Fund, Packs for Progress, and community partners.

The cost is $20 per person. Team sizes can range from two to eight people. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two teams.
