BETHEL — June Foyt had three RBIs to lead the Monmouth Academy softball team to a 16-2 win over Telstar in five innings during a Mountain Valley Conference game on Friday.
Maddi Herr had three singles, while Rileigh Chase added two singles for Monmouth (2-0). Isabella Lyons added a double.
Telstar falls to 0-3.

SKOWHEGAN 15, MT. ARARAT 0, 5 INNINGS: Jaycie Christopher had two singles, a double and a triple to lead the River Hawks to a win over the Eagles in Skowhegan.
Sierra Carey had a double and triple for Skowhegan (4-0), while Callaway LePage, Riley Fitzpatrick and Natalie Gilman each added two singles.
Mt. Ararat falls to 1-2.

MORSE 2, ERSKINE ACADEMY 1: Camdyn Johnson struck out 10 batters to lead the Shipbuilders to a win over the Eagles in South China.
Johnson also had three hits at the plate for Morse (3-3). Gabby Walker, Ava MacMahon and Sophia Barber each added two hits for the Shipbuilders.
MacKenzie Toner had two hits for Erskine (1-3).

POLAND 20, MT. BLUE 4: The Knights (5-0) overpowered the Cougars (0-2) in Poland.
Poland’s Gretchyn Paradis struck out 10 to earn the win from the circle. At the plate, Paradis hit a double and a single and drove in two runs and was one of five Poland hitters with multiple hits.
Eva Stevens notched a double for Mt. Blue.

RICHMOND 7, RANGELEY 6: Lila Viselli earned the win in the circle for the Bobcats in an East/West win over the Lakers in Richmond.
Richmond improves to 3-2.
Rangeley falls to 1-1.

OAK HILL 13, MT. ABRAM 3: Madison Drew’s hot bat paced the Raiders (2-1) in their five-inning win over the Roadrunners (0-2) in Wales.
Drew was 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs. Teammate Kelsey Young drove in two runs and Mia Valliere had two hits. Valliere also pitched and earned the win.
Adrianna Stinchfield pitched for Mt. Abram and struck out seven batters. She also was 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and a triple.

WATERVILLE 14, BELFAST 2, 5 INNINGS: Dakodah Aldrich smacked a double as the Purple Panthers rolled to a win over the Lions in Waterville.
Gillian Poulin had a single and double for Waterville (2-1).
Belfast falls to 0-2.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 4, MORSE 3: After Morse (2-4) scored a run in the top of the eighth inning, Erskine (2-1) answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning to walk off with a victory at South China.
Winning pitcher Hunter Foard struck out seven and walked two in a complete game. Morse’s Gabe Aucoin struck out 13 and walked one before reaching the 110-pitch limit.

WINSLOW 9, MCI 8: Evan Bourget had a double and two singles to lead the Black Raiders to a win over the Huskies in Winslow.
Kris Loubier had two singles for Winslow (1-3).
Caleb Kennedy had three hits, including a triple, for MCI (1-1).

MT. ABRAM 7, OAK HILL 6: Trevor Phelps hit a home run and pitched five solid inning to earn the win for the Roadrunners (2-0) against the Raiders (0-2) in Wales.
Phelps struck out five and allowed three hits and five runs. He also drove in three runs for Mt. Abram’s offense, which grabbed the lead with three runs in the top of the first inning.
The Roadrunners extended their lead to 7-1 with two-run fourth and fifth innings. The Raiders got back in the game with four runs in the fifth and another in the sixth, cutting the deficit to 7-6, but that was as close as they got.
Ian Morissette doubled and drove in two runs for Oak Hill. Starting pitcher Ethan Vattaso struck out six batters in six innings.
Adam Luce, who pitched the final two innings for Mt. Abram and earned the save, drove in two runs, and Bear Rollins scored twice.

HALL-DALE 6, CARRABEC 1: Trenton Hayward had two singles to lead the Bulldogs to an MVC win over the Cobras in Farmingdale.
Hall-Dale improves to 3-0.
Carrabec falls to 0-2.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 6, ERSKINE ACADEMY 5: Dakota Gregory scored on an underhand shot just inside the far post with two defenders covering her in the final minute to boost Lincoln (2-0) to a win over Erskine (2-3) at Newcastle.
Lincoln’s Marley LeBel converted from free position with 2:30 left to tie it.
Hunter Gilmore of Lincoln stopped seven shots, including a late save before Gregory’s winner.
