Thank you for your coverage of Nick Stanley, the music lover who died at age 43 (“Nick Stanley, a Maine music fan who inspired musicians, dies at 43,” March 31). It was truly inspiring.

Although bedridden, Stanley called forth the best in musicians by his love of the music they made.  I like to think he would have appreciated my music, played my recordings, and felt closer to God because of it.

May he rest in peace.
