GORHAM — Sophia Michaud scored 12 of her 18 points in the second quarter as the top-seeded Gorham girls’ basketball team pulled away to beat No. 8 Noble, 57-28, in a Class AA South quarterfinal game on Tuesday.
Brylee Bishop added 13 points for Gorham (16-3), who will face the winner of Wednesday’s Sanford against Massabesic game in the semifinals on Feb. 23.
Natalia Rothwell had nine points for Noble (2-17).
HALL-DALE 64, SACOPEE VALLEY 21: KK Wills had 17 points as the Bulldogs (19-0) cruised to a Class C South playoff win over the Hawks (3-16) in Farmingdale.
Amanda Trepenier added 14 points for No. 1 Hall-Dale, which advances to the quarterfinals to face No. 8 Traip at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday
Brooke Landry had 11 points for Sacopee Valley.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 73, ST. DOMINIC 26: Elise MacNair scored 21 points with eight rebounds and six steals as the fifth-seeded Seagulls (15-3) handled the 12th-seeded Saints (5-12) in a Class C South second-round game in Old Orchard Beach.
The Seagulls, who advance to face No. 4 Winthrop in the quarterfinals, made 11 3-pointers led by Sarah Davis (17 points) with four and MacNair with two.
Jessie Zimmerman had 15 points for the Saints.
MT. BLUE 47, CAMDEN HILLS 19: Eva Stevens scored 25 points as the Cougars (8-11) beat the Windjammers (0-18) in a Class A North prelim game in Farmington.
Katelyn Daggett added seven points for No. 7 Mt. Blue, which advances to face No. 2 Gardiner in the quarterfinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Kirsten Jones scored five points for No. 10 Camden Hills.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 64, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 20: Angel Huntsman had 16 points, seven assists and five steals, powering the third-seeded Panthers (15-2) to a win over the 14th-seeded Mustangs (3-11) in a Class C South second-round matchup in Yarmouth.
Sarah English had 11 points and Graca Bila finished with 10 for NYA, which advances to face No. 6 Kents Hill in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Madilyn Onorato had 10 blocked shots.
Haley DeHahn had 13 points for Monmouth.
