DURHAM, N.H. — Fifteen local students have been named to the 2021 fall semester dean’s list at the University of New Hampshire.
They include Rylee Saunders of Jay, highest honors; Laura Ireland of Wayne, highest honors; Susan Strickland of Gardiner, highest honors; Bailey Cloutier of Litchfield, honors; Alexis Emery of Winthrop, high honors; Hannah McLaughlin of Winthrop, high honors; Jenna Libby of Winslow, honors; and Brady Barre of Waterville, highest honors.
Also, Maria Veilleux of Belgrade, high honors; Abigail LaRochelle of Fairfield, highest honors; Carolyn Frank of Chesterville, highest honors; Jack Kearing of Industry, highest honors; Emma Kearing of Carrabassett Valley, highest honors; Victoria Broadley of Skowhegan, high honors; and Taylor Cassiani of Skowhegan, highest honor.
Students named to the dean’s list have earned recognition through their scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0.
Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors, and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
