ATLANTA, Ga. — Two local students received degrees during the Georgia Institute of Technology’s 261st commencement exercises.

They include Omar Gonzaga of Poland, who earned a Master of Science degree in cybersecurity; and Veena Gopalakrishnan of Lisbon, who earned a Master of Science degree in civil engineering.

Commencement was held Dec. 17-18, 2021, at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
