HERMON – Spectators at Dysart’s on Coldbrook Road plan to welcome a parade of “Egg Riders” at the 49th annual Dysart’s Snowmobile Ride-In for Pine Tree Camp on Saturday, Feb. 5.

The Q106.5 Egg Ride continues the nearly 50-year tradition of celebrity Egg Riders stuffing raw eggs down their snowmobile suits before the ride. Each egg represents a $50 pledge in support of Pine Tree Camp and its mission to serve Maine people with disabilities, according to a news release from Pine Tree Camp.

This year’s celebrities include:

• Bob Crowley, winner of “Survivor” season 17;

• Jared “Jedi” Baker of “Maine Cabin Masters”;

• John Gibbs, North American Ski-Doo Ambassador;

• Angela Luna, WABI TV5 morning anchor and reporter;

• Dan Cashman and Christie Robinson of The Nite Show;

• Joe Meyers, founder of Quarantine Karaoke;

• Jake Warn, founder of SledTRX;

• Scott Miller and Cindy Campbell of the Q106.5 Morning Show; and

• Dawn Willard-Robinson, director of Pine Tree Camp.

This year’s ride also includes a vintage sled “Antique Pit Stop” hosted at the Penobscot Snowmobile Club and an afternoon “Poker Run” in Hermon which is accessible by car as well as sled. All proceeds from the Dysart’s Ride-in support Pine Tree Camp.

Schedule:

• 10 a.m.: Celebrity Egg Riders gather at Dysart’s (530 Coldbrook Road, Hermon) where an all-day pancake breakfast special will be served, with all proceeds to benefit Pine Tree Camp.;

• 10:30 a.m.: Egg Riders stuff their snowsuits with eggs and leave Dysart’s for the vintage sled Antique Pit Stop at the Penobscot Snowmobile Club (795 Bog Road, Hermon);

• 11-11:30 a.m.: Egg Riders will be at Penobscot Snowmobile Club before returning to Dysart’s; and

• Noon: Egg Riders, joined by some of the vintage sled riders, arrive back at Dysart’s to greet fans.

• 1-3:30 p.m.: Pine Tree Society Poker Run. Open to the public. Registration begins at Noon at Dysart’s. The cost is $5 for each hand. Participants will visit five check points and pick up a playing card at each stop. The best three poker hands will win a cash prize ($200 for first place, $100 for second place and $50 for third place). The official run will end promptly at 3:30 p.m. with the winners announced immediately following.

• Stop 4: Hidden Beauty (151 Billings Road, Hermon): Participants will receive their fourth poker card here.

• Finish: Dysart’s (530 Coldbrook Road, Hermon): Participants will receive their fifth poker card here.
