AUGUSTA — Brady Hopkins knocked down six 3-pointers in the first half alone to help Cony defeat Erskine 71-29 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference boys basketball game Tuesday.
Hopkins finished with 22 points — 2o in the first half — for Cony (9-3). Luke Briggs added 13 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists for the Rams, while Dom Napolitano had nine points.
Liam Perfetto scored nine points for the Eagles (0-11), while Kaden Porter and Kaden Doughty each scored eight.

SKOWHEGAN 56, BANGOR 53: Down by six, the River Hawks outscored the Rams 23-14 in the final quarter to earn the KVAC A win in Skowhegan.
Levi Obert led three players in double figures with 17 points for Skowhegan (9-3) while Kyle LePage added 16 points and Adam Savage 12.
Landon Clark scored a game-high 28 points to lead the Rams (5-5).

WINTHROP 64, TELSTAR 30: Andrew Foster and Matt Beck each scored 11 points to lead the Ramblers to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Bethel.
Logan Baird added 10 points for Winthrop (7-0), which pulled away with an 18-2 second quarter.
Myles Lilly led Telstar with eight points, while Brayden Stevens, Gavinn Martin and Tristan Pelletier each scored six.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 76, MARANACOOK 49: Trevor Brown scored a season-high 30 points as the Panthers cruised to the KVAC win in Waldoboro.
Jacob Craig had 13 points for Medomak (9-3), while Patrick McKenney added 11 points and six assists and Jaiden Starr had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Brayden St. Pierre led Maranacook (4-5) with 14 points. Keagan McClure chipped in 10.

Courtney Rollins finished with 16 points and Molly Hay added 12 for Carrabec (7-1).
