JACKMAN – Mason Desjardins had 39 points, 10 rebounds and five steals to lead the Forest Hills boys basketball team to a 78-43 win over Richmond in an East/West game on Saturday.
Cooper Daigle scored 11 points, while Jackman Daigle added eight points for Forest Hills (9-0).
Connor Vachon led Richmond (2-4) with 13 points.

OAK HILL 59, HALL-DALE 54: Ramon Spearman led all scorers with 24 points and the Raiders held off the Bulldogs (3-5) to notch an Mountain Valley Conference victory in Wales.
Oak Hill (4-3) led 36-22 at halftime after outscoring Hall-Dale 24-11 in the second quarter. The Bulldogs cut eight points out of the deficit in the third quarter, but the Raiders kept the fourth quarter even and earned their fourth win of the season.
Spearman made 10 field goals and four free throws. Teammate Caden Thompson hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 17 points.
T.J. Wilson paced the Bulldogs (3-5) with 21 points, including three 3s, and Max Byron scored 12 points.

CARRABEC 71, BUCKFIELD 35: Luke Carey scored 18 points and had 14 assists to lead the Cobras to an MVC win over the Golden Bucks in North Anson.
Daniel Handley scored 16 points, while Joel Gerke and Ben Clark each added 10 points for Carrabec (6-2).
Gavin Charest led Buckfield (0-7) with 18 points.

MONMOUTH 63, BOOTHBAY 52: The Mustangs (5-3) pulled away from the Seahawks (2-3) with a strong third quarter on both ends of the floor during an MVC matchup in Monmouth.
Monmouth trailed at halftime, 29-25, after being outscored 16-8 in the second period. Led by three 3-pointers from Sammy Calder, along with five free throws by Hunter Frost and five points by Manny Calder, the Mustangs put up 23 points in the third while holding Boothbay to six, thereby turning the four-point deficit into a 48-35 advantage.
Sammy Calder led all scorers with 19 points, while Manny Calder finished with 14. The Calders combined to make seven 3-pointers. Frost added 12 points and Gavin Willett scored 11 for Monmouth.

MDI 60, WINSLOW 47: The Trojans outscored the Black Raiders 34-18 in the second half to earn their first win of the season in Class B North play in Winslow.
Charles Parker scored 19 points for MDI (1-6) while Kadin Reed added 13.
Winslow (6-2) was led by Jason Reynolds with 23 points and Nick Girard with 11.

BREWER 79, MT. BLUE 66: Three players scored 17 or more points to lead the undefeated Witches to a victory in Brewer.
Brock Flagg hit five 3-pointers and paced Brewer’s (8-0) balanced attack with 19 points. Ryder Goodwin and Brady Saunders (three 3-pointers) each finished with 17 points.
Mt. Blue’s (4-5) Zach Poisson (four 3-pointers) and Evans Sterling tied for the game-high with 20 points apiece. Jayden Meader added 10 and Justin Dill scored eight.

MDI 73, WINSLOW 29: Elena Alderman and Elizabeth Jones each scored 10 points to lead a balanced Trojan squad to the Class B North win in Winslow.
Sophia Brophy and Grace Witham added eight points apiece for MDI (5-2).
Mikayla Rioux led Winslow (1-6) with seven points while Sage Flukey and Harly Pomerleau had six apiece.

HAMPDEN 63, MESSALONSKEE 31: Bella McLaughlin scored 28 points to lead the Broncos to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win in Hampden.
Lauren Voteur added 11 points as the Broncos improved to 7-2.
Brennan Doran added 20 points for the Eagles (2-7). Ashley Mullen added nine.

MARANACOOK 66, LEAVITT 29: Allie Labelle scored 16 points, leading the Black Bears to a home KVAC victory in Readfield.
Labelle was joined in double figures by Natalie Mohlar, who scored 11 points, while Grace Dwyer scored nine. Maranacook (4-3) led 33-7 at halftime.
Caitlyn McCoy scored 11 points and Jazzlyn Clark had eight for the Hornets (1-7).

MT. BLUE 46, BREWER 32: The Cougars’ defense held the Witches to a single point in the third quarter, and the offense did its part to pull away in Farmington.
Katelyn Daggett scored seven of her game-high 19 points in the third, during which Mt. Blue (3-6) tallied 13 points to build a 35-16 lead heading into the fourth.
Eva Stevens made five 3-pointers and scored 17 points for the Cougars. Stevens and Daggett each grabbed nine rebounds. Eryn Parlin also had nine boards to go along with eight assists, six blocks and two points. Caitlin Burke contributed six points and four rebounds.
Allie Flagg and Jenna McQuarrie scored eight points each for Brewer (2-6), and Mariah Roberts added seven.
