SOUTH CHINA — Erskine outscored Mt. Blue by 17 points in the second half to earn a 34-26 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball win Thursday.
Emma Stred led the offense with nine points, 12 rebounds and three blocks for Erskine (3-4) while Emily Clark added eight points and 11 rebounds. Mackenzie Roderick also had eight points.
Mt. Blue (2-6) was led by Eva Stevens with a game-high 14 points.

LAWRENCE 43, MESSALONSKEE 27: Emily Hagerty scored 12 points to lead the Bulldogs (7-1) to the KVAC victory in Oakland.
Ali Higgins scored 11 points for Lawrence, while Liz Crommett scored nine.
Candace Pelotte scored eight points for the Eagles (2-6), and Brennan Doran added seven with 11 rebounds.

VALLEY 58, GREENVILLE 31: Brielle Hill scored 19 points to lead the Cavaliers to the East/West Conference win in Bingham.
Madeline Hill and Emily Collins added 12 points apiece for Valley (7-0).
Lila Kronholm led Greenville (1-5) with 15 points.

MADISON 49, CARRABEC 41:Â The Bulldogs outscored the Cobras 19-10 in the fourth quarter to earn the MVC win in Madison.
Callan Franzose scored 17 points, nine in the final quarter, to lead Madison (4-3). Thomas Dean added 14 points and 13 rebounds while Vern Worthen scored 11.
Carrabec (5-2) was led by Luke Carey with 15 points and Robert Lindblom with nine.

LISBON 56, MT. ABRAM 44: The Greyhounds took a one-point lead into the fourth quarter, then finished the game on a 19-8 run to top the Roadrunners in an MVC tilt in Lisbon.
Levi Tibbetts scored eight of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter for Lisbon, While Mason Booker added 13 and Caden Boone 11.
Payton Mitchell led Mt. Abram with 20 points and Adam Luce pitched in with 11.

LAWRENCE 60, MESSALONSKEE 57: The Bulldogs took a three-point lead into the second half and then held on to win by three in a KVAC game in Fairfield.
Conner Nutting scored 17 points for Lawrence (3-5) while Andrew Trembly and Parker Higgins scored 16 apiece.
Daniel Parent led Messalonskee (0-8) with 17 points and Alden Doran added 15.

CONY 77, CAMDEN HILLS 62: Luke Briggs scored 31 points, and the Rams took a 28-point lead into the fourth quarter before wrapping up the KVAC victory in Augusta.
Briggs hit 10 shots from the field, including four 3-pointers, for Cony (6-1), which led by as many as 34 points in the second half. Parker Sergent scored 16 points, Kam Douin had 13 with 12 rebounds, and Brayden Barbeau had eight assists.
Liam O’Neal led the Windjammers (4-1) with 14 points.

MARANACOOK 70, WATERVILLE 30: Brayden St. Pierre scored 14 points to guide the Black Bears to a KVAC victory in Readfield.
Wyatt Folsom (11 points) and Nick Wilson (10) joined St. Pierre in double figures for Maranacook (4-4).
Bryce Hunter scored nine points to lead the Purple Panthers (0-8).

Jared Ricker led Valley (4-3) with 19 points while Wallace Savoy chipped in eight.
