READFIELD — Tyler Hreben scored 20 points and had six rebounds and six assists to lead the Maranacook boys basketball team to a 62-58 win over Medomak Valley on Wednesday night.
Brayden St. Pierre scored 11 points, while Chris Reid added 10 points for the Black Bears (3-2).
Trevor Brown scored 21 points for the Panthers (3-3).

NOKOMIS 64, MESSALONSKEE 45: Cooper Flagg scored 26 points to lead the Warriors to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win in Oakland.
Connor Sides scored nine points, while Alex Grant and Madden White each added eight points for Nokomis (5-1).
Alden Doran led the Eagles (0-6) with 13 points, while Daniel Parent added nine.

FOREST HILLS 85, RANGELEY 20: Braidan Welch scored 18 points to lead the Tigers to the East/West Conference win at the Augusta Civic Center.
Blaine Nadeau added 17 points and six steals for Forest Hills (7-0) while Mason Desjardins had 12 points and 10 assists and Cooper Daigle chipped in 12 points. Jackman Daigle and Hiram Logston were also in double figures with 10 points apiece.
Trevor Dolbier led Rangeley with seven points.

DIRIGO 59, MADISON 44: Dakota Tompkins scored 19 points to lead the Cougars to a Mountain Valley Conference victory over the Bulldogs at the Capital City Hoop Classic at the Augusta Civic Center.
Charlie Houghton added 10 points for Dirigo (4-1).
Callan Franzose scored 18 points for Madison (2-3), while Thomas Dean added 10 points.

Isa Whittier chipped in with 12 points in the win.
Grace Allen led Forest Hills with 16 points and Allie Dunning added 13 points.
