AUGUSTA – Parker Sergent scored 21 points to lead the Cony boys basketball team to a 77-52 win over Messalonskee at the Capital City Hoops Classic on Tuesday night at the Augusta Civic Center.

Luke Briggs scored 18 points for the Rams (5-1), while Kam Douin added 17 points.

Alden Doran led the Eagles (0-5) with nine points, while Walter Fegal added eight points.

 

NOKOMIS 73, ERSKINE 31: The Warriors took a 43-8 halftime lead and never looked back on their way to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win in South China.

Cooper Flagg led the offense with 12 points for Nokomis (5-1) while Hunter Flagg added 11 and Ace Flagg nine.

Erskine (0-6) was led by Kaden Porter with a game-high 17 points.

 

CARRABEC 72, BOOTHBAY 46: Luke Carey scored 22 points and dished out 13 assists to lead the Cobras to the Mountain Valley Conference win at the Augusta Civic Center.

Danny Handley added 18 points for Carrabec (4-1), while Joel Gehrke scored 14.

Kayden Ames, Luke Morley and Connor Winters scored seven points apiece for the Seahawks (1-1).

LEAVITT 54, MOUNT VIEW 53: Sawyer Hathaway nailed two free throws with 14 seconds remaining to give the Hornets (5-1) a win over the Mustangs (3-2) in Turner.

Hathaway finished with 18 points in the game. Brett Coburn added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Hunter Hayes pitched in with seven points, 14 rebounds, five steals and four assists.

Noah Hurd led Mount View with 18 points, Tyler Russell had 15 points and Wyatt Evenson finished with 11 points.

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

 

OCEANSIDE 76, WINSLOW 40: Bailey Breen had 16 of her 28 points in the first half as the Mariners (6-0) took a 30-12 halftime margin and pulled away from the Black Raiders (1-2) at Winslow.

Abby Waterman had 16 points for Oceanside, Anna Kingbury tossed in 12 points and Audrey MacKie added 10.

Mikayla Rioux led Winslow with 20 points.
