I live in Augusta with my spouse and two young sons. I work as a clinical social worker at The Gardiner Center for Stress Management.

Preserving the environment has always been a prime concern for me and I am excited that we have a mayor candidate that shares this priority. Marci Alexander supports recycling and renewable sources of energy, such as solar power.

I know one of the things Marci wants to do is create a committee that will help educate the public about the correct ways to recycle. There is, understandably, a lot of confusion about what can be recycled and where to recycle it, so the first step is to educate the public how to do it effectively.

I’m excited for Marci’s committee to make Augusta a greener city!
