Marci Alexander is what Augusta needs as the next mayor for positive forward motion that will serve all who live, own a business, and work here. I have known Marci for over 15 years both professionally and as a great friend. She served the state as assistant attorney general and director of Health Care Crimes Unit and now general counsel at Maine General.
She is serving a second term in City Council and knows, because she does the research, on what out-of-the-box thinking it will take to move Augusta forward. She will do so while being a seasoned, no-nonsense, competent thinker and doer who is fiscally responsible. She is the candidate who will do more with less and keep taxes affordable.
Marci has a fresh, new perspective and is not afraid of change. She is not a career politician but has decided to run to help Augusta be more awesome: a city our children will want to live and work and raise their families in. When Marci is elected, I know Augusta will be a thriving, safe place we can all be proud of.
Marci is practical, smart, and understands people and organizational needs in a preternatural way. She can and does work with all parties and people of all ages and diversity and gets things done.
I want my children to live and thrive here for generations to come. I have worked in Augusta, owned a business in Augusta, fostered Augusta children, and I was a 40-year resident of Sand Hill. I know what I’m talking about.
