Oak Hill High School’s Little Theatre in the Woods will present the classic vampire story, “Dracula.” Showtimes are 7 p.m. on on Friday, Oct. 22, and Saturday, Oct. 23, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24.

When Dr. Van Helsing (played by Samuel Bonner), a specialist in obscure maladies, discovers that beautiful Lucy Westenra (Sarah Rossignol) is the victim of a vampire, suspicion falls on a mysterious neighbor, Count Dracula (Nathan Fournier), and his frighteningly beautiful wives (Destiney Samare and Kadence Moulton), who receive special emphasis. The large cast contains many fine acting parts, from the haunting vampire wives to the ever-popular Renfield (Kassidy Pulk), who fancies a diet of flies and spiders. There are young lovers, comic staff members, sanatorium guests and Jonathan Harker (Dylan McFarland), first to fall victim to the vampire’s thirst. The story of his journey to Dracula’s fortress will have audiences on the edge of their seats. Intermingled with the drama is a fine thread of comedy that helps relieve mounting tension and chills.

Rounding out the cast are Connor Robinson, Marcus Gallagher, Julianna Langlois, Joshua Bonner, Memphis Murphy, Marissa Morgans, Aaliyah Green, Kaitlyn Daisey, and Nhi Nguyen. The technical director is David Maher and his crew includes Pauline Maloy, Leo Lovett, Jaidyn Seeber, Hannah McWilliams, Amalie Hamilton, Maddox Fessenden, Kalana Sands, Patience Kay, and Tommy Skinner.

This version of the story is adapted by Tim Kelly, and directed by Lucy Rioux. Costumes are designed by Lyn Swan with assistance from Abigail Frazier.

Tickets must be reserved by emailing Lucy Rioux at lucyrioux@gmail.com and audience members will be expected to wear masks. Ticket prices are $7 for general admission and $5 for students and seniors.
