The Washington Lakes Watershed Association is to display its photo contest exhibit from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at the Corner Gallery, Washington Village Center, Washington.
After viewing the gallery, attendees can gather in the outside tent for a talk on the history of Medomak Camp by Holly Stone and the history of the dams on Medomak Brook by Jeff Grinnell.
The talk will be from 7 to 7:45 p.m., followed by the association’s annual meeting.
During the meeting there will be an opportunity to learn about the work of the association, founded in 1991 by local year-round and summer residents.
The association aims to promote understanding and good management of the water and watershed within the town of Washington.
Light refreshments will be served.
