When someone steps up and serves their country during a time of war, separating themselves from their loved ones and answering the call to serve, Americans should at least say thank you.
When someone becomes an educator to impart knowledge and understanding on our children Americans should at least say thank you.
When someone puts aside time from their family and projects in order to serve their community in the Maine Legislature, Mainers should at least say thank you.
When someone does all three, as Justin Fecteau has done, thank you really doesn’t seem to be enough but it is the least we can do.
Thank you, Justin, from all of your West Side neighbors — and good luck with your new opportunity.
