I fully support L.D. 1708, a bill to create the Pine Tree Power Company, a non-profit, consumer-owned utility. This bill would provide Mainers with more reliable energy at lower rates.

The bill also makes every Mainer a stakeholder in their power company, instead of leaving it up to unreliable private corporations that let us down time and again.

I implore you all to contact your House and Senate representatives this week to let them know you support L.D. 1708. We can do this together.
