Do you think local and state officials should be doing more to combat browntail moths?
The bad news: browntail moth caterpillars are back with a vengeance in Maine. The worse news: the poisonous hairs on their bodies can shed and cause serious health problems, like rashes and respiratory issues, for some people.
Places like Waterville have already declared a public health emergency as the bugs descend on local parks. Do you think other towns should follow suit? Should local and state officials do more to combat the browntail moth problem? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
