GRAY — The National Weather Service has scheduled SKYWARN weather spotter classes for May. Storm spotters report large hail, damaging wind, tornadoes and flooding.
Spotter training will teach how to identify and report severe weather as well as how to maintain awareness, in order to keep people safe.
People can register for one of three free individual spotter sessions, each virtual session will be held at 6 p.m. Each session covers the same training material. For those that are younger than 16, an adult sponsor is required.
