HINCKLEY — L.C. Bates Museum, in observance of Happy Citizen Science Month, encourages people to get outdoors and use crowd-sourcing apps such as iNaturalist, GLOBE Observer and eBird, to document nature.
People can walk on the Good Will-Hinckley Trails and conduct citizen science studies.
The museum, with the support of volunteers, is assembling and sharing additional Natural Science Kid’s Kits and Nature Nugget videos with schools and families. Contact the museum for a children’s kit.
The 14 Easler Road museum will soon offer outdoor programs that explore forest and wetland habitats.
