SACO — President Trump’s son Eric will appear at campaign events in Maine and New Hampshire on Thursday, the Trump campaign announced.

Eric Trump will first stop in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, for a “Make America Great Again!” event at the Portsmouth campaign field office, according to a news release. The campaign did not provide details.

Then, he will head to the Camp Ellis Pier in Saco for an event titled “Fighting for Maine Lobster with Eric Trump.”

Last month, Trump said he thinks he should win in Maine because of measures he’s taken to help the lobster industry.

Saco City Administrator Bryan Kaenrath says the campaign event will be in a parking lot on city property. The Trump campaign will be renting the space and will reimburse costs associated with public safety. Secret Service will handle the logistics, but Saco police will provide additional support.

Kaenrath says the city is not officially involved with the event other than allowing the campaign to rent the space. But Kaenrath said he and Saco Mayor William Doyle may try to talk to Eric Trump afterward about the ongoing erosion at Camp Ellis Beach, specifically a potential project involving the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to help remediate the erosion.

Eric Trump was in Georgia on Tuesday before making the trek north to New England and will make an appearance in Pennsylvania on Friday.
