FARMINGTON — Police said speed was a factor in a rollover that injured a Wilton man Thursday morning on Morrison Hill Road.

Nicholas Foy, 19, was traveling east in a 2011 Jeep Liberty when he hit the dirt shoulder near Morrison Hill Orchard and lost control of the vehicle, officer Jesse Clement of the Farmington Police Department said.

The vehicle rolled over into a field on the opposite side of the road and landed upright, Clement said. 

Foy was treated for minor injuries at the scene by NorthStar ambulance personnel, Clement said.
