MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — Remi French, of Mount Vernon, was honored May 8 at Wesleyan University’s spring prize reception.

French received the Outstanding Collaboration Award — Awarded for a program which was successfully planned in the spirit of partnership and team work; and the Plukas Teaching Apprentice Award -— Established in 1986 by John Plukas, Class of 1966, this prize is awarded for excellent service to the Economics Department as a teaching apprentice.

French, a sophomore, is majoring in economics and romance studies. French previously attended Spring Lake High School in Michigan.
