Rangeley RuKaBi Race will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 26, starting at the Rangeley Town Park on Main Street in Rangeley.
The event is hosted by the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce and Rangeley Health and Wellness, according to a news release from the chamber of commerce.
The race consists of three legs, a 3.5 miles run, kayak for 1.5 miles and a 3.5 mile bike ride. Participants will first bike, then kayak and end with the run. A portion of the run/bike course is on a dirt road.
Participants can enter as a team, with each team member competing in one of the three legs of the race, or enter as individuals and do all three legs of the race.
To register prior to race day, stop by the Rangeley Health and Wellness Fitness Center at 25 Dallas Hill Road or the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce, 6 Park Road.
Registration forms also will be available online at rangeleymaine.com. If rental equipment is needed, the deadline to register is Monday, May 13. Availability of equipment is limited and will be assigned to registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration also will be available from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. on the day of the race at the chamber.
Prizes will be awarded to the first female, male and team to complete the course.
