LEWISTON — Sixty percent of Bates College students elect to study abroad through the college’s Center for Global Education.
Ashley Pratt, of Greene, participated in the fall 2018 Bates College Junior Semester Abroad program. Pratt, who is majoring in neuroscience and minoring in chemistry at Bates, studied in Ireland through University College Dublin. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pratt, of Greene, and a 2016 graduate of Leavitt Area High School.
Signe Lynch, of Farmingdale, participated in the fall 2018 Bates College Junior Semester Abroad program. Lynch, who is majoring in environmental studies and minoring in education at Bates, studied in New Zealand through the University of Otago, Dunedin. She is the daughter of Thomas L. Lynch and Ashli V. Spear, of Farmingdale, and a 2016 graduate of Hall-Dale High School.
