WATERVILLE — Colby College has announced the following area students were named to its 2018 fall semester dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement.
Jonathan A. Allard, a sophomore, attended Medomak Valley High School and is the son of Laura Roberts, of Washington. He is a computer science major.
Grace L. Andrews, a sophomore, attended Mount Blue High School and is the daughter of James and Claire Andrews, of Farmington. She is studying environmental science.
Benjamin A. Andrews, a freshman, attended Mount Blue High School and is the son of James and Claire Andrews, of Farmington. His major is undeclared.
Christine Clark, a senior, attended Nokomis Regional High School and is the daughter of Robert and Melissa Clark, of Oakland. Her major is classics.
Cora J. Merrick, a sophomore, attended North Atlantic Regional High School and is the daughter of Hubert and Sandra Merrick, of Mount Vernon. She studies theater and dance.
Sarah E. Morgan, a sophomore, attended Gardiner Area High School and is the daughter of Charles and Marla Morgan, of Gardiner. She studies biology with a neuroscience concentration.
Emily E. Nyman, a freshman, attended Nokomis Regional High School and is the daughter of Douglas and Melinda Nyman, of Corinna. Her major is undeclared.
Ethan C. Pullen, a sophomore, attended Messalonskee High School and is the son of Charles and Tammy Pullen, of Oakland. He is a computer science major.
Adrienne N. Tracy, a junior, attended North Yarmouth Academy and is the daughter of Jeffrey and Mary Ellen Tracy, of Winthrop. She studies environmental science and biology.
Kaitlin M. Volk, a senior, attended Mount Ararat School and is the daughter of Ronald and Lisa Volk of Bowdoin. Her major is biology with a concentration in ecology and evolution and environmental science.
Allison M. Wehrle, a junior, attended Lincoln Academy and is the daughter of Paul and Ginger Wehrle, of Wiscasset. She studies English with a concentration in creative writing and educational studies.
Colleen E. Wright, a senior, attended Maranacook Community School and is the daughter of James and Mary Wright, of Fayette. She studeis music-interdisciplinary computation.
These students representing 26 percent of the qualified student body-earned a grade point average of 3.77 or higher last fall.
