FARMINGDALE — Freshmen Iris Ireland and KK Wills combined for 41 points to lead the Hall-Dale girls basketball team to a 71-50 win over Mt. Abram in Mountain Valley Conference action Saturday.
Ireland finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds for Hall-Dale (6-3) while Wills added 20 points. Grace Begin also hauled in 10 rebounds.
Mt. Abram (3-7) was led by Madison Phelps with 16 points and Kaylee Knight with 13.
WATERVILLE 77, WASHINGTON 37: Sadie Garling scored 24 points and Abigail Saucier had 12 points and eight rebounds to lead the Purple Panthers to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B victory over the Raiders in Waterville.
Paige St. Pierre scored 12 points for Waterville (11-0), while Kali Thompson grabbed 12 rebounds.
Raeanah Reynolds led Washington (0-11) with 14 points.
RICHMOND 53, TELSTAR 26: Hannah Moholland led an offensive attack that included four double-figure scorers in Richmond’s 53-26 girls’ basketball win over Telstar on Saturday.
Bryanne Lancaster added 12, Macy Carver 11 and Caitlin Kendrick 10 for the Bobcats (3-7).
Luci Rothwell led the Rebels (2-9) with eight points. Aneah Bartlett and Brooke Richardson added six apiece.
MCI 47, MARANACOOK 33: Leah Bussell scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Huskies to the win in Pittsfield.
Jillian Frost added 13 points for MCI (5-5) while Sara Linkletter chipped in 11.
Maranacook (6-4) was led by Kate Mohlar with 11 points.
SKOWHEGAN 62, MESSALONSKEE 40: Emily Dunbar scored 16 points to lead the Indians to a KVAC A victory over the Eagles in Oakland.
Alyssa Everett scored 14 points for Skowhegan (10-0), while Jaycie Christopher added 11 points.
Gabrielle Wener led Messalonskee (5-5) with 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Alyssa Genest and Emily Parent each scored six points, while Mackenzie had three blocks.
OAK HILL 32, WINTHROP 13: Oak Hill won a low-scoring matchup between a pair of undefeated teams in MVC play.
The Raiders (10-0) held the Ramblers (8-1) to two points in each of the first three quarters. Oak Hill, though, only led 17-6 heading into the final quarter. The Raiders finally pulled away with a 15-point quarter in the fourth.
Oak Hill’s Abby Nadeau topped all scorers with 15 points.
MONMOUTH 58, CARRABEC 38: Monmouth jumped out to a 29-10 halftime lead over Carrabec to cruise to an MVC win.
Monmouth (7-3) was led by Abby Ferland who scored 16 points. Libby clement added 10 and Kaeti Butterfield chipped in nine points with two treys.
Carrabec (2-8) was paced by Cheyenne Cahill who scored a game-high 21 points. Brooke Welch tacked on 10 points but only four Carrabec players scored in total.
MADISON 43, LISBON 32: Emily Edgerly scored 11 points and Abi Spaulding had 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to an MVC win over the Greyhounds in Madison.
Katie Worthen added seven points for Madison (5-5).
Valerie Doucette led Lisbon (1-8) with 11 points, while Kiley Merritt added eight points.
GARDINER 43, BREWER 35: Bailey Poore and Aimee Adams each scored 12 points to lead the Tigers to a KVAC A win over the Witches in Brewer.
Jaycie Stevens added 10 points for Gardiner (7-3).
Rebecca Gideon led Brewer (2-8) with 12 points, while MacKenzie Dore added 11 points.
LAWRENCE 69, MEDOMAK VALLEY 51: Sarah Poli scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and the Bulldogs rolled to the KVAC A victory in Waldoboro.
Savannah Weston added 15 points and 12 rebounds for Lawrence (6-3). Keagan Alley scored 13 points and Megan Curtis had 10.
Sadie Cohen had 15 points and Abby Lash scored 14 for the Panthers (7-3).
BUCKFIELD 37, FOREST HILLS 31: Kathryn Henderson scored 11 points as Buckfield defeated Forest Hills in an East/West Conference game in Jackman.
The Tigers (4-6) led 27-19 after three quarters. Senior forward Alexandra Lessard scored nine points for Forest Hills.

FOXCROFT 53, WINSLOW 41: Mackenzie Beaudry scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Ponies to the B North win.
Ainsley Ade added 13 points, including eight from the free throw line, for Foxcroft (5-5).
Weslee Littlefield scored 11 points for Winslow (7-3) while Grace Smith added eight points and 16 rebounds.
BOYS BASKETBALL
BREWER 61, GARDINER 49: Dylan Huff scored 15 points pace the Witches to the A North win in Gardiner.
Trevor Pearson added 14 points for Brewer (4-6) while Brandon Glidden chipped in 12.
Gardiner (1-9) was led by Logan Carleton with 18 points and Ryan Johnson with seven points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four blocks.
WINSLOW 62, FOXCROFT 49: Jacob Bisson scored all nine of his points in the fourth quarter when the Black Raiders outscored the Ponies 22-11 to take command and pull out the B North win in Winslow.
Colby Pomeroy led all scorers with 26 points, including 10 free throws, for Winslow (6-4).
Foxcroft (5-6) was led by Jeremy Richard and Hyatt Smith with 11 points apiece.
SKOWHEGAN 44, MESSALONSKEE 29: Marcus Christopher scored 13 points to spark the Indians to the KVAC A win in Oakland.
Matush Prokop added 11 points for Skowhegan (4-6).
Tucker Charles led Messalonskee (5-5) with 13 points.
LAWRENCE 47, MEDOMAK VALLEY 46: Kobe Nadeau hit a free throw with 10 seconds remaining to give the Bulldogs a KVAC A win over the Panthers in Fairfield.
Nadeau led Lawrence (5-5) with 14 points, while Zachary Nickerson added 11 points.
Ryan Creamer led Medomak (6-4) with 12 points.
RANGELEY 63, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 41: Junior guard Nolan Boone and sophomore guard Kenneth Thompson scored 15 points apiece as Rangeley took the East/West Conference matchup.
The Lakers (6-3) got hot and broke the game open in the second quarter with a 19-6 run. Thompson scored 11 and Boone had eight points during the quarter.
Sophomore guard Kobe Jex paced the Guardians (2-8) with 12 points.
FOREST HILLS 80, BUCKFIELD 36: Brandon Gilboe scored 21 points and had 12 rebounds to lead the Tigers (10-0) to the East/West Conference victory in Jackman.
Gilboe also had five assists and six steals for Forest Hills. Dalton Gregoire scored 14 points, Jakob Rivas scored 11 and Parker Desjardins had 10.
Tyler Gammon scored 14 points for Buckfield (2-7).
FOREST HILLS 93, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 12: Parker Desjardins scored 23 points as the Tigers got the East/West win in Jackman.
Jeremiah Hale had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Forest Hills, while Jackman Daigle scored 12, Mason Desjardins scored 11 and Joey Poulin grabbed 14 rebounds.
Christian Viekman led Greater Portland Christian with five points.
BOYS HOCKEY
EDWARD LITTLE 9, CONY/MONMOUTH/HALL-DALE 0: Logan Alexander and Ben Cassidy each had a hat trick to pace the Eddies to the Class A win in Auburn.
Ben Lane-Robichuad added a goal and two assists for EL (5-3-0) while Gunner Winslow and Cameron Sturgis had a goal each. Gavin Toussaint made 10 saves.
Matty Shea made 19 saves for Cony/Monmouth/Hall-Dale (3-5-0).
