East Madison Days 2018 is scheduled for Friday, July 20, through Sunday, July 22. The following events will take place at the East Madison Fire Station and the East Madison Historical Association, both on East Madison Road, and at the East Madison Grange, Grange Road in East Madison.
Diane Poulin and her country/western band will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 20, at the East Madison Grange.
On Saturday, the EMHA yard sale is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A book talk and signing with Jenny Oby, author or “The History of Maine’s Lakewood Theater,” is set for 11 a.m. at the EMHA building. A book talk and signing with Bobby Clement, author of five Maine-based mysteries, the latest is “Pebbles from the Pond,” will begin at noon at the EMHA building.
An Antiques Appraisal Fair with Tim Pomelow is set for 1-4 p.m. at the East Madison Fire Station. Bring an item or two for appraisal. A $5 donation is suggested. A baked bean supper is scheduled from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Grange.
On Sunday, the yard sale will continue from 9 a.m. to noon. A hot dog/dynamite luncheon will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the East Madison Fire Station. A presentation of the Quilts of Valor by the East Madison Quilt group will begin at 1 p.m. at the fire station.
