The annual Kingfield POPS concert will begin at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at the Kennedy Farm, on Depot Street in Kingfield.
The family-friendly concert will feature Shawn Tooley leading the lineup with a gate-opening performance. New-to-Kingfield POPS performers include GoldenOak, Gypsy Tailwind Reunion featuring Anna Lombard, and the Adam Ezra Group. The genres covered in these acts alone, range from indie-soul folk, Americana and Roots traditions to moments of blues, reggae, rock and alt-country.
The Gyspy Tailwind Reunion comes exclusively for the Kingfield POPS, featuring New England Music Award’s Female Performer of the Year Anna Lombard. In the excitement of this reunion, the 7-piece band will not only perform an array of their fan and radio favorites in a solo set, but the POPS have also commissioned the development of three orchestral charts for their songs to be played in a short-set collaboration with the Bangor Symphony.
Tickets at the gate cost $30 for adults and are free for children when accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased at Kingfield and Farmington locations of Tranten’s Family Stores and at local branches of Skowhegan Savings Banks.
