The 2018 Moose Festival will be held June 8-10 at the Skowhegan State Fairground, 33 Constitution Ave. in Skowhegan.

The free three-day event will include a wide range of activities for families, including two moose calling competitions, as well as the announcement of results for the state’s moose permit lottery. Headlining the entertainment will be national recording artist Phil Vassar and opening act Bryan White who will perform at a concert Saturday night. Adults also will have the opportunity to experience wild game and craft beer pairing and tasting as part of the weekend festivities. Tickets for the concert and taste testing are an additional cost.
