In celebration of the MaineDOT road construction project taking place in Hallowell until October, artist members of The Harlow are invited to submit one piece of art responding to the theme of “Construction/Deconstruction” for the annual Summer Members’ Show and Sale. This opportunity is open to current members of the The Harlow/Kennebec Valley Art Association only.
All media welcome, including but not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, fiberarts, photography, sculpture and fine craft. Artists must fill out the online entry form before drop off day.
The show will be on view July 6-28 in the upstairs gallery at 100 Water St. An opening reception is set for 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 6, in tandem with the reception for Dog Days, a light-hearted exhibition on view in the downstairs gallery celebrating the loyal companions.
Art can be delivered between noon and 6 p.m. Friday, June 29, or Saturday, June 30.
