Vox Nova Chamber Choir and INTIMA will present their second of a four-concert series with performances at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at The Franco Center, 46 Cedar St. in Lewiston and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at Studzinski Recital Hall, Bowdoin College, Brunswick.

The music for Winter Solstice evokes both the wildness of nature and the cultivated aspects of the season. Stephen Paulus’ “Evensong” and “Auld Lang Syne” are seasonal and the other repertoire is natural and highlights the extreme beauty of northern landscapes.

Vox Nova Chamber Choir (Est. 2009) under the direction of Dr. Shannon M. Chase, champions the expansive body of modern and contemporary choral repertory.

Tickets cost $20 for adults, $15 for seniors or $10 for college students with ID and children.
