GARDINER — Together is Better: The Marvel and Mystery of Fish Migration Show will be on view April 20 through June 16 at Monkitree Gallery, 263 Water St.
The six-week exhibit, which coincides with the return of sea-run fish to the stream, will celebrate the healthy vibrant Cobbossee watershed for World Fish Migration Day, April 20.
The show will focus on the magic, mystery and wonder of 7 million alewives returning to their natal streams when Cobbossee watershed is fully restored. The show is a collaboration of Upstream ad the gallery.
Maine artists can submit unframed, 9-inch by 12-inch pieces of art on paper. Photos of the pieces can be emailed to clare@monkitree.com no later than March 31. Include several pieces, though space may be an issue.
The original are must be dropped off by April 14. All pieces submitted must be for sale.
