Augusta-area attorneys named to ‘Best Lawyers’ list
Five Preti Flaherty attorneys, all residents of the Augusta area, have been selected for inclusion in the 2018 edition of Best Lawyers in America, according to a press release from the firm.
A total of 42 of Preti Flaherty’s attorneys were selected by their peers for Best Lawyers in America. Nominations are based on an intensive peer-review survey in which more than 25,000 of the nation’s attorneys cast nearly two million votes. The magazine Corporate Counsel has called Best Lawyers, “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
The selected attorneys include:
Charles F. Dingman, Leeds, administrative/regulatory law; health care law
Joseph G. Donahue, Gardiner, administrative/regulatory law; communications law; energy law
Bruce C. Gerrity, Manchester, administrative/regulatory law; franchise law
Michael L. Lane, Richmond, real estate law
James C. Pitney, Jr., South China, public finance law
Votes are based on the legal abilities of each attorney, and because attorneys do not pay a fee to be listed, inclusion is considered a top honor.
