SKOWHEGAN — Police are investigating a report of a man’s body found Sunday evening in Skowhegan, but say the incident does not appear to be suspicious.

The body was reported near the corner of Back Road and Glenview Drive, south of the downtown area, at 6:51 p.m.

Police Chief David Bucknam said by phone Sunday night that the incident appears not to be suspicious. Additional information was not immediately available.
