Police say a 22-hour standoff in Lincoln ended with the surrender of a man who was wanted on charges of sexual assault.

WMTW-TV reported that officers went to William Bradbury’s home at noon on Monday because he was wanted on charges including sexual abuse of a minor. One alleged victim is 14 years old and the other is 15, WCSH TV reported. A standoff resulted that lasted until Tuesday morning.

Police said there were weapons in the home, but no shots were fired, according to WCSH.

Police say Bradbury will also be charged with creating a police standoff. It wasn’t immediately clear if Bradbury had an attorney.

The standoff closed down Route 2 in Lincoln.
